Atrauman Ag Silver Dressing is a non-adherent wound contact layer featuring a fine weave of polyamide fibers coated with metallic silver. This dressing is designed to minimize bacterial burden and promote an optimal healing environment. The silver ions provide antimicrobial protection, making it suitable for managing infected wounds or those at high risk of infection. The non-medicated, triglyceride-based impregnation ensures the dressing does not stick to the wound bed, supporting painless dressing changes and protecting the wound edges from maceration.

Indications:

• Infected wounds or those at high risk of infection

• Acute wounds including traumatic wounds and surgical incisions
• Partial thickness burns up to second degree

Usage Instructions:

1. Clean the wound according to standard clinical practice.
2. Apply Atrauman Ag directly onto the wound, ensuring it is in contact with the entire wound surface.
3. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing if necessary.
4. Change the dressing as needed, typically every 1 to 7 days depending on the level of exudate and clinical condition.

Precautions:

• Ensure the dressing is in full contact with the wound bed for optimal efficacy.
• If signs of infection persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional.
